Classic Chocolate Chip Cookies
Who doesn't love the classic American chocolate chip cookie?
No joke, I forced my friend to taste-test several recipes, and much milk later, this was the decided winner. It's simple, packs a buttery and vanilla punch with a chocolatey wallop, all while staying humble without fussiness. These cookies are also the size of my entire hand. Just sayin'.
CONTENTS: Four cookies
Ingredients
Wheat flour, sugar, butter, eggs, chocolate (sugar, chocolate, cocoa butter, milkfat, soy lecithin), vanilla extract, baking soda, salt.
Storage
As with any homemade baked goods that have no preservatives, these are best enjoyed as soon as possible after they are made, within 2-3 days of pickup. Baked cookies are also great for the freezer for up to a month or so. Find out more tips on food storage here. Frozen dough should be placed in your freezer immediately until you intend to bake them at home.

Baking Instructions
Frozen cookie dough will be four balls of dough in a plastic bag. You can bake the cookies as is, or reshape the dough to smaller cookies if you prefer. If you've purchased frozen cookie dough (which should be put in your freezer at home as soon as possible), here are your instructions:
- Set the cookies on an ungreased or parchment-lined cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Bake at 375°F for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown but the interior appears slightly undercooked.
- Let cookies sit on the cookie sheet for several minutes to continue baking on the sheet before removing to a cooling rack to finish cooling.
Ideally, thaw the cookies for 24 hours in the refrigerator before baking. If you don't have time to do that, you can set them on the cookie sheet during the time it takes your oven to preheat. You may want to press down on them slightly so they are flatter and bake more evenly from their frozen state. Sometimes frozen dough doesn't spread out as evenly as room temperature or lightly chilled dough.
