Lone Prairie Bakery is located in Bismarck, North Dakota and started in 2025, operating mostly for fall and winter when we like our carbs. (I jest, but only kind of.) Several years as a pastry chef, a mom who taught us to bake and cook when we were young, and a love of cookies and bakeries made it a logical choice.

There are few more frustrating things than loving to bake and having no one to bake for. So I'd love to bake for you.

The bakery operates on pre-orders. When pre-orders open, you can select from what is available that month. Once the pre-orders close, I spend the next day baking to order, and the following day (usually a Saturday) customers come by and pick up their freshly baked goods. Massive win for everyone.

The Lone Prairie Bakery is a home bakery operating under North Dakota cottage food laws. I must inform customers of the following: "This product is made in a home kitchen that is not inspected by the state or local health department." Food items are not produced in an allergen-free kitchen and therefore, anyone who is sensitive or allergic to food ingredients should not purchase or consume these items.
