When the snow flies, it flies again.

The arrival of yet another batch of snow, making this year's March a precipitation-filled penance for the almost balmy January and February, means dad is out blowing snow.

And, since we are at the north end of the county, far from the county seat of Devils Lake, and since there is no school bus route on the road in front of our house, the snow stays piled up there, too. The blade will come, eventually, but not in time for us to go about our usual week. Dad will have to blow snow on the road so we can get out to the highway without taking a detour into the ditch.

Plus side? It's good skiing snow. Down side? I don't have any money or plans to go skiing any time soon.
