The Homestead has different seasons with different lodging
demands, and so we therefore have seasonal rates that vary accordingly. We
also have renters that frequently use the house as a get-away, and so we
will try to juggle their use with our guests. This does not occur during
the October hunting season.
All guests are expected to pay in full upon arrival,
except in cases which require down payments as outlined below. If you
decide to leave early, you will receive your money back for the days you
did not stay, minus any non-refundable fees as outlined below. Hunters can
settle up at the end of their stay. | |
|
| Duck hunting season - (September 30 -
October 31)
- $25 per person per night, with a $100 minimum per night. (i.e. four or
more hunters have this covered; two hunters will need to pay $50 a
night)
- We will send you a form to fill out and sign for our records
- Non-refundable fee of $50 charged upon finalization of reservation,
and can be sent back with the form
- $50 fee will be added toward the total upon completion of stay
- Guests that have not sent in the $50 fee by April 15th will lose their
reservation
- Your fee includes all the amenities of the house, plus 1500 acres of
land that is posted for your use as well as a place to clean your ducks
- We do offer, for a fee of $20 per night, the option of parking a
camper in our yard with water and electric hook-ups, although it is
literally right in our yard
