Writers, win $5000!

A topic will be revealed on June 3, and writers have until midnight to submit their article on that topic. Anyone is welcome to enter; if you don't have a free AC account, you can sign up for one then and submit your writing. I probably won't be around a computer to take part, though if I am, I'll certainly give it a go.

The letters you keep.

Too bad I didn't find out about it until know. Had I written this post in a more timely manner, I would have said:
Simply tell them about a letter you've kept, and you could win $500 in stationery. For more information, check out the details at their web site. You can also join the Flickr group.
But, as it is, I'm too late. The deadline was May 1st.
Whoops.
Cool idea, though.

Other contests: Calling all T-shirt and card artists.

- SaneSociety.org is running a T-shirt contest. Click on the link on their home page for more information.
- The American Diabetes Association has a contest for artists to design a Christmas card image. Each winner receives $500. The entry fee for adults is $10, and entries are limited to flat designs. The deadline is fast approaching! You need to get your art in by November 1. Find out more information, and get an entry form, here.
