written by Julie R. Neidlinger 0 comments link this postSometimes I forget that I don't have to have a masters or some high degree in theology to read the Bible. The Bible is meant for all. But, I forget that, most often in the heat of a discussion on some web site where the phrases and words and concepts that are being bandied about are completely foreign to my simple interpretations and understanding of the Bible.
Instead of being helpful, that kind of talk only makes me wary and fearful of reading the Bible, as if it were up to me and not the spirit to help me understand.
