Essential websites for readers.
written by Julie R. Neidlinger 1 comments link this postI've tried to collect useful links for readers in the right-hand column of this page. However, I thought an all-out blog post with such links might be useful and less distracting, since, if I were to continue, the right-hand column would stretch far beyond the rest of the web page. I will update this page as I find sites. Please use the comments section if you have a site you'd like to include.

Sorted books with an extra message.
written by Julie R. Neidlinger 0 comments link this postA friend emailed me a link to a very cool web site that sorts books by title so that the titles form a sort of message via a kind of modern poetry. Check out the site, called Sorted Books. I think you'll enjoy it as much as I did.

Get your library online.
written by Julie R. Neidlinger 0 comments link this postA friend pointed me to a great web site that lets you catalog your books online. It's called Library Thing.
Much to my dismay, I've discovered, as I went through my books to enter them into my free Library Thing account, that I've fallen into the classic bibliophile trap of having more than one copy of the same book.
It's just so hard to remember, at this point, what I already have.
Hence, the beauty of Library Thing, which lets you easily enter your books by ISBN numbers (or other methods), rate them, critique them, find others who have similar reading interests...perfect.
At any rate, I've filled up my full free account (limit: 200 books). You can see about half of the books that I have in my online library catalog.
