As long as we are talking frankly theologically speaking, I taught this once in a Bible Study and shocked the participants. But Mr Wildebeest is right. I didn't teach it for shock value but for clarity of what Paul really was saying. Since you like the Apostle Paul used the word correctly I thought you should see it for what it is.
I also posted a post that some thought offensive. Pastor Dan didn't.
It's a crime that we talk in such couched terms. If I thought you were full of it I would tell you.
Come to think of it I have from time to time, haven't I.
Oh, And I think President A................. stands for Asshole. Another good Biblical word. I'll allow others to discover where that is.

I thought it interesting that yesterday this was the bible verse was the featured verse on the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod website.
Yes, the man is a Rat Bastard (sorry for the profanity) and I am sure on the state run news reports today in Iran they are saying how President Ahmadinejad crushed the indidel Americans yesterday.
Don't worry folks the Love of Jesus, Truth, Justice and the American Way will prevail...
