"Captain."
He turned to see Pris standing next to him.
"Captain."
"Yes?"
"Hal says we're nearing the planet the Admiral directed us to, and that we should activate the plasma screen."
Rogers nodded. His crew would have to be punished alongside him, though technically it was called a Level Three Crisis Mission. Level Four Missions were those that carried space caskets along for each crew member. In his mind, this was a Level Four.
"Put it up on screen, Hal," Rogers called out, the android acting immediately, clicking and pushing buttons.
But no picture.
"On screen, Hal," Rogers said again. "We need it now."
"I know I've made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal." Hal replied. Sometimes Hal made very little sense.
Hal, like the view screen, were made by the Zenith corporation, one of only three corporations still in existence from ancient Earth. Zenith, despite its lofty name, wasn't above much of anything and the products it made were perpetually on the fritz. They fit the rusty and aging ship well, Rogers thought sadly.
"I need that image up, Hal," Rogers called out, his voice carrying to the walkway above where Hal worked.
And then, there it was. Planet Doom.

I highly encourage you to borrow snippets of dialogue from Cartoon Network this morning. I'm watching it with Julia, and I feel like I've landed on Planet Doom.
