Blogathon 2006: Thank you's.

I would like to thank:
1. The sponsors who made this worthwhile.
2. My dad for providing me with a list of weapons to reference as well as a book called Guns of the Old West: An Illustrated History.
3. Louis L'Amour, Zane Grey, Luke Short, Max Brand, and all the other authors of the western novels of my dad's that I used to sneak and read as a kid. Even John Wayne, whose movies I sometimes watch unwillingly. And all the other great western films that I referenced through quotes.
4. Mom, for the Diet Coke and M&M run that helped me get through the night when everyone else was sleeping.
5. The people who helped me rack up 218 hits on Saturday. That's more than double the usual amount for my rinky-dink little blog.
6. For my local newspaper for not giving me one bloody bit of coverage despite the provided press release and other information from both me and the charity I'm blogging for when other newspapers gave other bloggers swell coverage. This is a thanks for helping me make up my mind on whether to renew the so-called "local" paper, the official paper of record for Ramsey County which doesn't cover anything north of Highway 17. Hats off to you and your excellent work. Please continue to cover only the sports of the local high school, the dart report from the local bars, and all the special reports on what's happening with your local park board. It means a lot to me up here.
7. All the bloggers and readers who were here when it was so late/early and we all needed it most.

Juls, you did it!! I do not suppose you get to sleep all day either? I had a good laugh over the reference to Billy Graham. Now I just need to sit and read.

Excellent job, once again. You're a force of nature. Now, go get some rest.
Umm...after church, of course. I feel your pain.
