06-06-06 is bad for plants.
written by Julie R. Neidlinger 2 comments link this postToday is the whole 6-6-6 thing.
The Neidlinger's didn't emerge completely unscathed. Nope.
Please consider praying for my mother's petunias.
Oh, quit laughing. I killed them last year, too.
She was given a basket of them as a gift and now that she is gone at camp as a cook for the summer and the watering of all the flowers is up to me, I have succeeded in pretty much killing them.
My mother is going to kill me.
How did this occur?
Simple. I was so paranoid, with the hot, dry days we've been having, to make sure the other outdoor potted plants and fragile alyssum plants didn't croak during the nightly waterings that I forgot the most obvious basket of plants: the petunias, hanging right by the door.
My mother is going to kill me.

Langdon must have a nursery? buy some new petunias and re-pot them? Then don't forget to water them! Hey this is off topic but I lived in Clyde, and Milton when I was younger.
