An invitation to irony.
written by Julie R. Neidlinger 4 comments link this postGuess what I'm doing right now, this very moment? I'm working on wedding invitations.
Oh, settle down. Not for me, but for my niece.
Funny, in light of the recent re-run post.
Yes, I'm combing the internet trying to find the proper wording that an invitation requires, tweaking the fonts, busily putting my graphic design skills to use. Right now I'm making the map that will show people where the church is and where the hotel with the reserved rooms are.
For family, anything. Even wedding stuff.
I was the pianist for my sister's wedding back in 1997. It went pretty well until my other niece, who was turning pages for me during one of the soloist's songs, knocked the music off of the piano and I became a deer in the headlights. As I fumbled around trying to play five flats for a piece of George Strait music that I neither knew nor loved while my niece tried to resurrect the music off of the floor and the soloist garbled on, glaring at me, I thought to myself that perhaps I should have taken my practicing more seriously.

If the hair is no longer red are we to anticipate non-red hair photos?

Pretty much no. But I do have a new pair of shoes.
(Non-sequiturs; a blogger's best defense.)

Hey! You promised!
"Anyway, stay tuned for photos of my new-return-to-old hair color. I know you're thrilled and excited.

Oh for crying out loud...
I'll get someone to take a photo of my hair tomorrow.
Gee. Such a laborious task for me.
