scheduled release for book
The history book for Hampden is scheduled to be released on June 11, 2004. This is according to the information from the printing company.

Is the history book behind schedule?
We've had some concern expressed to us that the History book isn't out yet. And some suggestions to get it done ASAP.
Please don't worry about it not getting done. We actually aren't behind schedule or lagging. Over a year ago, we reserved and scheduled the time when the printer would do our history book run, and at that time we chose to have the book come out shortly before the celebration. Even if we were to hurry and complete the book as suggested, it wouldn't arrive any sooner. Our time is scheduled and the contract is signed.
The thinking was that it would be exciting to have the book arrive near the reunion, making it fresh and new during the celebration and having a number of copies available at the celebration as well.
Please don't worry. We haven't forgotten. We're busy editing and categorizing and will start the actual computer layout and graphics work this weekend.
Thanks for your patience. It should be a good book.
