About Lone Prairie Cupcakes: The cupcake side of the company was started in April 2009 . I have long been fascinated by the concept of the small cake. Lone Prairie Cupcakes are currently available through the Patisserie on Fourth bakery in downtown Bismarck.

All cupcakes and cakes are made from scratch (no mixes!) with handmade frostings. Because they use ingredients like butter, they are best if let to sit at room temperature for a short while before eating. Straight out of the cooler means they are still a bit firm. Please read the handy “Care and Feeding of Your New Cupcake” for more information.
