My sister Jacqui has a very pretty dog. It’s a nice dog, as far as large dogs in the house go.
The dog has a name.
I don’t use it.
“Dog, sit down.”
“Come here, dog.”
“Move, doggy.”
“Dog, get in the kennel.”
It’s kind of like the janitor on the TV show Scrubs, who is referred to as Janitor.
