My hair currently smells like a salad. I decided to purchase shampoo that didn’t have parabens or other chemicals. The problem is, I feel a lot of guilt about it. Frankly, there is more nutrition in what I dumped on my hair than what I ingested today.
This is a sad state of affairs on how I’ve let myself go.
Sometimes, when I read the contents of organic personal care products like shampoo and lotion, I find myself wondering if we shouldn’t be getting these fruits and vegetables to starving people instead of dumping them on our hair.
“I see that you don’t have proper nutrition, little boy. If it makes you feel any better, the soap I use on my hair has vitamins and fruit extracts which would probably help you with the rickets you suffer from, but I unfortunately just washed it down the drain. Isn’t my hair shiny, though?”
I don’t know.
It’s probably unnecessary guilt, but most guilt is.

I just purchased hand lotion with white tea and licorice. Seemed like a good idea at the time.
